FINANCIAL SUPPORT
Your contributions, both during your lifetime and beyond, help
sustain the Mission of Saint Anthony Church and the Maronite
Catholic faith.
No amount is too small to make a difference.

Ways to Give During Your Lifetime

  1. Sunday Collections and Special Occasions
Your regular contributions during Mass and on special occasions are
Vital to the church's operations and ministries.

  2. Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs)
If you are 70.5 years or older, you can make a tax-free transfer of up
to $105,000 from your IRA to a qualified charity like Saint Anthony Church.
For individuals aged 73 or older, these QCDs can count toward the
Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) for the year.

    • Married couples who both meet RMD age requirements and have separate
IRAs can contribute up to $210,000 combined.

    • To qualify as a QCD, the contribution must be made directly from the IRA
o Saint Anthony Maronite Catholic Church.

Why choose a QCD over a cash donation?

  • QCDs may excluded from taxable income, even if you don’t itemize deductions.  This exclusion may provide greater tax savings than cash donations claimed as charitable deductions.

  • Be sure to inform your tax preparer that you intend to make a QCD.

Please consult a tax professional for further guidance.

  1. Gifts of Appreciated Securities
By donating highly appreciated securities directly to the church, the full fair market value of the securities benefits the church, and you may eliminate potential capital gains taxes.
Consult a tax professional for advice on this option.

Ways to Give at Your Passing

  1. Include Saint Anthony Church in Your Will or Trust
Consider leaving a specific amount or a percentage of your estate to the church.  The legal name of the parish is Saint Anthony Maronite Catholic Church.

Consult an attorney to discuss this option.

  1. Name Saint Anthony Church as a Beneficiary
You can designate Saint Anthony Church as a full or partial beneficiary of:

    • A life insurance policy

    • A retirement account

    • A payable-on-death (POD) beneficiary for a bank account or certificate of deposit (CD)

Your generosity ensures that Saint Anthony Church continues its mission for generations to come.

God bless you for your loving concern and generosity.
